Rev. Santosh Gurung is the Senior and Founding Pastor of New Life Church Karmatar and the visionary force behind Raising An Army Ministries. Based in the spiritual gateway of Darjeeling (“The Queen of Hills”) and operating extensively across Nepal and India, Rev. Gurung has emerged as a distinct voice calling the Body of Christ from passive religion to active supernatural demonstration.
His ministry is not defined by a career but by a consuming burden: to see a generation raised not just as believers but as supernatural belivers.
The Calling: Pastor & Teacher
Rev. Gurung operates primarily under a dual mantle of pastoral care and biblical teaching.
As a shepherd, he is deeply rooted in the local church, believing that the strength of any global movement is the health of the local congregation. He serves as a spiritual father to next-generation leaders, guiding them into maturity and discipline.
As a Teacher: His teaching is very simple but very depth teaching everyone can easily understand. He is a man of word, his teaching is full of God’s word. His teaching is full of God’s word revelation. His teaching is not only full of God’s word, but also full of anointing of the Holy spirit

To Raise an Army of God: Mobilizing believers who are disciplined, fearless, and ready for spiritual warfare.
To Raise Miracle Workers: Breaking the monopoly of the “super-star” minister by equipping every believer to walk in the miraculous.
To Raise Many Deliverers: Training the laity to cast out demons and destroy the works of darkness in their own spheres of influence.
To Raise Local Church: Planting and strengthening local bodies as training centers for the Kingdom.
Theology & Conviction
Rev. Gurung’s ministry is built on Pneumatological Realism—the belief that the Holy Spirit is a real Person to be known, not a force to be used. His uncompromising stance on faith is summarized in his frequent declaration:
“If your mind can understand it, it is not a miracle.”
He challenges the modern church to embrace the impossible. Whether through his sermon series “The King and The Kingdom In You” or his teachings on the “Believer’s Authority,” the message is consistent: The Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
A Prophetic Voice for the Season
Rev. Gurung leads with a prophetic edge, sensing the pulse of God for the times. For the year 2026, he has released the mandate of “The Year of Open Doors” (Isaiah 22:22, Revelation 3:8).
